WATCH: Nurdle Cleaning 101

It was World Ocean Day on Saturday and our beach clean focused on the little things – cigarette butts / broken bits of plastic and nurdles…..thousands and thousands of the tiny plastic pellets in every handful of sand!!!!

Here’s a little demo on how to collect them using tubs or buckets and small sieves – very easy to do but time consuming. A big thank you to Tidal Tao for teaching us this method. Worldoceansday.org/
