The uMhlanga UIP continued working closely with municipal departments throughout October to monitor and address sewer, water and other infrastructure issues across the precinct.
4 Sewer Blockages Reported
Four sewer blockages were reported this month, with the Wastewater Department attending to the faults. Water infrastructure also required attention, with several leaks reported along Lagoon Drive and promenade irrigation infrastructure repaired and reinstated.
Working Together on Precinct Infrastructure
The UIP continued to monitor municipal faults and liaise with the relevant departments to help support quicker response and resolution. This ongoing collaboration remains important as uMhlanga heads towards the festive season, when reliable municipal infrastructure and responsive service delivery become particularly important for the precinct.
