UPDATE: Please take note that the DSW strike is now over and refuse removal will now continue as normal.
Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit (CSW) is experiencing service interruption due to an ongoing illegal strike action by EPWP workers.
Refuse service collection and street sweeping in most regions in eThekwini is affected.
CSW is doing everything to resolve the issue urgently, for the service to go back to normal. Residents are requested to keep all refuse within their properties.
The city would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
