Update On The M4 scour repair

Storm water control on the M4 Scour Repair site held up well despite heavy rains in the past few days. The rain was steady enough to allow the water to soak into the fine dune sand above the M4 with no runoff or erosion occurring. The retaining structures had no scouring allowing work to commence immediately after the rain. Bulk backfill is progressing well and the selected material sub-base layerworks has started.
