The uMhlanga Ski Boat Club raised R10 000 for the Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation through the uMhlanga Parkrun. The club sponsored pink ribbons for R5 each and encouraged every runner in the parkrun to wear one R2 500 was raised on one run, and chairman of the club Byron Kane gave an additional R7 500.
