The current situation with the taxis in uMhlanga Rocks is being addressed by the eThekwini Transport Authority, Oceans developer, the taxi associations and Metro Police. While the new temporary rank on Ridge Rd is open, there is currently no holding facility, which is one of the main factors driving the current situation. Resolving this situation is a UIP priority and we will continue providing whatever support we can to ensure a quick end to this issue. We apologize for the difficulties it is causing locals and holiday-makers alike.
