Over the past week the Department of Tourism allocated 24 Tourism Monitors to the uMhlanga UIP as part of their training. The monitors have been observing our daily tasks and assisting us where possible with dune rehabilitation, beach clean ups, nature guiding, fault reporting and security monitoring. The Tourism Monitors are pictured above on their way to assist in a beach clean up.
