The eThekwini Municipality sewer department is currently on-site attending to the sewer leak on the promenade. In the interim, the UUIP team has temporarily placed pallets over a part of the area to allow people walking on the promenade to pass through. Additionally, we have also dug up a few trenches in the sand to prevent the leakage from flowing into the sea. We will provide an update once the issue has been resolved.
