eThekweni has initiated a scholar patrol programme until mid January. This is aimed at providing a better level of safety for young beach goers. Scholar Patrol guards are on watch and children are encouraged to wear wrist bands with their name and contact number. The meeting point for the children if they were to get lost is next to La’Spigatta Restaurant. The UIP is grateful to eTM for this initiative.
