Recent repairs at Durban View Park and McCausland Drive

This past month, important repair work has been carried out at two key locations in uMhlanga.

At Durban View Park, a collapsed stormwater pipe about two meters underground was discovered. Coastal Stormwater Management is handling the necessary repairs, and a temporary ramp has been installed to keep the park accessible during this process.

Additionally, on 1 August, a major water pipe burst on McCausland Drive was reported and promptly attended to by eThekwini Water and Sanitation. The team worked diligently to restore water service, which was successfully restored by 19h00 the same evening.

We’re closely monitoring both situations and working with the respective teams to ensure all repairs are completed efficiently. Thank you for your patience and continued support as we maintain the safety and functionality of our community spaces.
