The uMhlanga UIP is aware of the sewage leak that occurred just north of Bronze Beach in uMhlanga yesterday, 27 January. The overflow was due to the Portland Drive pump station failure and was attended to and resolved by the authorities. eThekwini Municipality is currently sourcing a tanker to remove the remaining spill. Once removed, they will sanitise the affected area. We will keep the public updated as we receive information.
