The City would like to inform residents that the Kerbside Orange Bag Recycling Programme will resume its operation on 01 June 2020. Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit has ensured that it adheres to the standards placed by the Department of Health and is in line with the safety of its employees in the work environment to eliminate chances of contracting and spreading of the Covid 19 during level 4 of lockdown.
Residents are encouraged to limit the amount of recyclables generated or reuse, up-cycle or store recyclables on their properties.
The City would like to thank residents of eThekwini for their continued participation in the Recycling project and apologise for the inconvenience caused.
