Oceans Development Taking Shape

Construction work on the Oceans development site is increasing daily, with the following update from the development team:

  • Work continues on the residential and hotel components, and with the retail project planned to commence in the next month, we can expected increased activity with additional construction vehicles and workers accessing the site.
  • The residential and hotel tower cores have reached level 6 (above the height of Ridge road) and it is anticipated that these will reach level 15 by the end of the year. The final height of the building will tip 100m once complete.
  • The installation of 4 additional tower cranes continues, and will bring the total number of cranes on site to 6. It is anticipated that at the height of construction there will be 9 tower cranes and 3 mobile cranes on site.
  • The site entrance gate at the western end of Flamingo lane will be reopened in the next 2 weeks and will be used for senior site staff and occasional deliveries. Hoarding in this area will be adjusted accordingly.
