Thanks to the Key Foundation the uMhlanga bead sellers have new shelter in time for summer

Five new thatch umbrella shelters, were officially handed over by the Key Foundation to the traditional craft sellers on Lagoon Drive last week.

The handover was co-ordinated by the Key Foundation and was attended by officials from the eThekwini Municipality’s Inland Business Support Unit and the uMhlanga Urban Improvement Precinct (UIP).

A huge thank-you to Dale Southern at the Key Foundation for his sponsorship, the municipality for supporting the project and property owner Gotya Props who allowed the traders to remain on their property. Read details of the project
