The public is informed that the Mount Edgecombe Garden Refuse Site will be fully operational from today, 26 July at 12pm. This was after the site was temporarily closed due to a factory burning in the precinct.

Residents are permitted to dispose of garden waste not exceeding one bakkie load per week for free at any of the Durban Solid Waste garden refuse sites.

The public is reminded to observe all Covid-19 protocols when visiting the sites and that the β€˜No Mask, No Entry’ rule remains applicable.
