Despite the incredible amount of rain over the weekend (some reports estimating over 200mls!) there was limited water damage in uMhlanga Rocks. Despite the huge storm-water outflow onto the beaches, the main issues were the volume of plastic on the beach and the sand flowing from the Oceans construction site onto Lagoon Dr causing the storm-water to back up. The issue is being dealt with by the developers of both sites.
