Pollution management company Drizit Environmental are currently between the uMhlanga Pier and the lighthouse area clearing out nurdles. The nurdle clean-up began at the end of November last year, after a spillage in the harbour area and is still underway. The UIP will continue to keep the community updated on the status of the clean-up.
