What is the City Nature Challenge?
The City Nature Challenge is a global initiative that celebrates the natural world within urban environments. Through platforms like iNaturalist, a social network for naturalists, citizen scientists, and biologists, participants can document and share observations of biodiversity in their local areas.

As part of the City Nature Challenge, the UUIP invites you to join Allister Starke, Conservation Horticulture, Ecology & Human-Nature Design expert, for a guided forest and grasslands walk in Sibaya. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore and learn about the diverse ecosystems around us.

Meeting place: Meet at Ngowaja trail junction (off Heleza Boulevard, Sibaya) at 7:45 to start at 08:00.
