As the UIP team continues to clean up the sand along the promenade, which is up to 20cm high in some areas, the #CleanBlueLagoon movement has put out an appeal for help in a cleaning operation on 18th March from 09h30 to 11h30.
As debris washed up from this weeks’ high seas affects all our beaches, the UIP will be taking 4 members of its’ cleaning team to assist in this operation and we encourage members of the uMhlanga Rocks community to participate too.
