DATE & TIME

For all the youngsters in the neighborhood who are keen to dress up and go TRICK OR TREATING, there will be a Halloween walk this year on Saturday 3rd November at 2.00 pm (14h00), starting at Kingston Park (Kingston Road next to Atholton Primary School).  Furbabies are also welcome to join the walk, but must be on a leash.  The walk will finish by 3.30pm.  In order to ensure road safety and controls at all times, ALL children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

So get decorating and let’s make this the best Halloween Walk ever for our kids.

REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE

UUST would like to have certain check points and would appreciate it if anyone is prepared to assist with route controls (please let them know asap by replying to this email).  Also, for anyone in the area who is not going to have trick or treaters along their route but who is happy to contribute some sweets or chocolates, it would also be greatly appreciated, these can be dropped off at Kevin’s office at Hilken Center. UUST are planning on decorating the Kingston Park (starting point) and along the route with some Halloween décor so if anyone wants to contribute any scary stuff to this it would be a great help.

PARTICIPATION

Residents who fall in the roads of the above route, PLEASE get stocked up with sweet treats and spooky decorations! We also encourage anyone who is not on the route and would like to participate, to maybe set up a table at the park in Kingston starting point or anywhere else along the route, the kids will be so grateful to have more participators this year. We really want this to be a Spooky experience for kids in our hood, let’s make this Halloween an epic one!!!!!  If you do not wish to be disturbed by this activity, please put a peg or sign on your gate to indicate this (for your ease, attached is a sign you can print and use). No Thanks – Do not disturb sign.

See you there.
