On 2nd December Matric Rage 2017 begins, with approximately 7 500 matric students per day expected to stay in in uMhlanga Rocks until 9th December. This year, most of the events will be hosted in a “party town” erected in Durban Kings Park Stadium, with Legends Restaurant in McCausland Crescent the only venue being utilised in uMhlanga Rocks but only as a day venue.
The UIP team is prepped and ready for the students, with the UIP 24/7 hotline 086 111 2050 the main contact number for the area during Rage and the Festive Season. The UIP will be working with the Red Frogs and local authorities to ensure the students has a safe and fun time. Details of the local rage plan are available here.
