Following the La Mercy and Zinkwazi rivers bursting their banks this week after heavy rainfall, a large amount of debris and common water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) have washed up on our shores. The eTM Parks Department will do their best to clear out as much of the debris as possible in the coming days.
