This last week saw much activity taking place on the Village Green, with the erection of a construction hoarding and the lifting of grass. This work is in preparation for the construction of a site office for the Gotya Props or Gandhi Square development which will take place in the vacant site over the road. The Village Green itself is owned by the developer and forms part of the Gandhi Square site. The office will be a high quality structure that is likely to remain after construction is complete and could be used as community office space for the UIP and possibly the clinic.
