Breakers Resort becomes uMhlanga boardwalk’s first ‘gold brick’ contributor with R100 000 donation

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Breakers Resort board and General Manager, Ian Hume, for the generous donation of R100 000 towards the community-funded uMhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve raised boardwalk project. Led by the uMhlanga UIP and approved by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and KZN EDTEA, the new structure will enhance the area’s environmental integrity and provide a lovely ’walk-in-the-trees’ experience for locals and tourists to enjoy. The first 80m of the boardwalk will be complete by 15 December. The UIP is relying on community funding to complete the 1km walkway. To make a legacy donation of R25 000, R50 000 or R100 000 please email info@urbanmgt.co.za or use the Zapper code on our home page for any other amount.
