The uMhlanga UIP is delighted to welcome the renovation of our beloved Whalebone Pier, an iconic landmark in our area. We kindly request everyone’s patience and understanding as private contractors contracted to the eThekwini Municipality, progress through each phase of this project to ensure its successful completion. The revamp will include various reinforcement and restoration activities, enhancements to the pier’s lighting, and the rekindling of the mosaic artwork. We will provide updates as the project progresses.
