Various outlets in uMhlanga Rocks have started noticing newly printed “old” R200 notes being used again. Please be aware that these old notes are not to be accepted.
In 2010 these notes were recalled by the South
African Reserve Bank as a result of an irregular
circulation of the old series of notes. These old
series notes are not fake, but by now most
South African public are aware of the problems
with R200 notes and should not resist when their
OLD R200 notes are not accepted.
