Maintaining Milkwood Trees For Safety

This month, the uMhlanga Urban Improvement Precinct (UIP) tended to the low hanging Milkwood Trees on the uMhlanga Rocks promenade close to the Breakers Resort. As protected trees that have been on our coastline well before we were, the UIP is careful to look after them while at the same time ensuring the safety of promenade users. To this end, the low-branches have been propped up and secured with poles highlighted with reflective tape, ensuring they are above head height for runner and walkers.
