These plans focus on creating a &#8220;walkable&#8221; city, <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iolproperty.co.za\/roller\/news\/entry\/durban_budgets_r68_5m_for\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">captured in this\u00a0IOL article<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>in which Phillip Sithole, acting deputy city manager of Economic Development, discussed\u00a0the city&#8217;s approved Local Area Master Plan to deal with the decay in the CBD and its surroundings.
