According to Eskom, the load shedding schedule will only implemented in an emergency situation where Eskom cannot meet the national demand from customers and this is most likely to occur in high demand periods between 17:00 &amp; 21:00 during weekdays.<\/p>\n<p>The best way to manage this situation is to:<br \/>\n1. Check the daily <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.durban.gov.za\/City_Services\/electricity\/Load_Shedding\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LOAD SHEDDING STATUS<\/a> <\/strong>for Durban<br \/>\n2. If load shedding is being applied, check if the load shedding stage is 1, 2 or 3<br \/>\n3.
