General manager Massimo Galassi owes this success to a beautiful environment and the amazing support from the uMhlanga community.

The Forest Café offers a unique coffee shop experience within the uMhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve. Besides receiving the many coffee enthusiasts who frequent the café, daily wildlife visitors include a three-legged monkey, mongoose, duiker and beautiful birdlife. Massimo says the café offers the best sunrises for the early morning coffee drinkers.

The uMhlanga Forest Boardwalk is a community-funded project managed by the uMhlanga UIP.
